2. Maintenances

Maintenances are required from time to time on the servers hosting Abacus. This feature allows to manage the organization of the maintenances, prepare with the partner, ensure availability and inform the clients about service interruption in advance.

Maintenance tool is being tested at the moment and some partners might not see it yet.

A summary of the incoming maintenances was added to the homepage.

The list of maintenances requiring an approval from the partner are also displayed on the homepage as a remainder.

There exists two types of maintenances that can be created with this feature. Either you want to inform your clients directly about a service interuption to come and you can then create a maintenance yourselves or Arcanite can create a maintenance impacting some of your machines.

Arcanite might require you to accept the maintenance before to display a message to the clients.

Messages can be edited by the creator of the maintenance (either Arcanite team or you and your colleagues). It is possible to modify the message in several languages.

It is possible to discuss about the maintenance to come (or during the maintenance) using the chat included in the details page of the maintenance. We recommand you to activate “notify by email” if you use it to ensure that your message get received quickly.
